S\u00e3o um grupo de insetos com indiv\u00edduos adultos de colora\u00e7\u00e3o marcante (Figura 1) e ninfas opacas (Figura 2). Estes indiv\u00edduos possuem depend\u00eancia direta de \u00e1gua no est\u00e1gio larval e indireta na fase adulta, por estarem relacionados aos ambientes l\u00edmnicos associados pelo comportamento reprodutivo (Borror<\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> et al.<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, 1989; Ram\u00edrez, 2010). As lib\u00e9lulas s\u00e3o hemimet\u00e1bolos, ou seja, apresentam processo incompleto de metamorfose, do ovo eclode uma ninfa (forma jovem), que depois de alguns processos de transforma\u00e7\u00e3o passam a ser adultos. A maioria das esp\u00e9cies de Odonata, passam por per\u00edodos entre um m\u00eas, a mais de um ano como ninfa e possuem um n\u00famero vari\u00e1vel de est\u00e1gios at\u00e9 atingir a fase adulta (Ram\u00edrez, 2010). <\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Os insetos aqu\u00e1ticos e outros invertebrados aqu\u00e1ticos s\u00e3o fundamentais na cadeia alimentar dos sistemas aqu\u00e1ticos e principalmente para os peixes cultivados (Von Hessberg e Quintero, 2004). Para que exista harmonia entre os insetos aqu\u00e1ticos e o manejo na piscicultura, \u00e9 necess\u00e1rio que o piscicultor conhe\u00e7a o comportamento biol\u00f3gico que os insetos aqu\u00e1ticos apresentam. Assim, como a biologia das esp\u00e9cies de peixes cultivadas. Para que desta forma se estabele\u00e7am melhores condi\u00e7\u00f5es de cultivo minimizem os preju\u00edzos da preda\u00e7\u00e3o destes insetos sobre as p\u00f3s-larvas de peixes.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">As p\u00f3s-larvas quando povoadas nos sistemas de produ\u00e7\u00e3o, podem se alimentarem de larvas de insetos aqu\u00e1ticos, presentes nos tanques ou viveiros. Isto ocorre quando o povoamento e o manejo das p\u00f3s-larvas ocorrem no per\u00edodo correto, que seria quando os peixes est\u00e3o com tamanho suficiente e povoados com at\u00e9 5 dias ap\u00f3s a eclos\u00e3o. Para que as p\u00f3s-larvas possam predar as ninfas ou estarem aptas a se defenderem de predadores. Pois, quando o manejo do povoamento ocorre em per\u00edodo tardio, as ninfas v\u00e3o predar as p\u00f3s-larvas, ocasionando grandes preju\u00edzos na produ\u00e7\u00e3o de alevinagem.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Esses preju\u00edzos est\u00e3o associados a forma de preda\u00e7\u00e3o que as ninfas realizam, pois possuem o comportamento voraz e qualquer animal aqu\u00e1tico podem ser presas para elas. Como as p\u00f3s-larvas de peixes, besouros aqu\u00e1ticos, larvas de mosquitos, vermes e girinos. As ninfas vivem em piscicultura de agua doce e salobra, ambientes l\u00f3ticos e l\u00eanticos. Fatores f\u00edsicos como temperatura, profundidade da \u00e1gua, presen\u00e7a ou aus\u00eancia de vegeta\u00e7\u00e3o, determinam o consumo das ninfas sobre as p\u00f3s-larvas de peixes. <\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Ninfas s\u00e3o predadoras carn\u00edvoras vorazes principalmente de p\u00f3s larvas de peixes de at\u00e9 1,5 gramas de peso vivo. Uma \u00fanica ninfa pode consumir at\u00e9 5 p\u00f3s larvas\/dia, em um ciclo de produ\u00e7\u00e3o na piscicultura pode haver grandes perdas causadas por estes insetos aqu\u00e1ticos. <\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Muitos piscicultores t\u00eam utilizado indiscriminadamente diversos tipos de substancias qu\u00edmicas t\u00f3xicas e n\u00e3o biodegrad\u00e1veis para o combate a estes insetos aqu\u00e1ticos, por\u00e9m a utiliza\u00e7\u00e3o destas substancias podem causar grave dist\u00farbios na fauna prim\u00e1ria aqu\u00e1tica (Mccafferty, 1983). Geralmente s\u00e3o utilizados inseticidas organofosforados, n\u00e3o recomendados pela legisla\u00e7\u00e3o ambiental, para o uso dessas subst\u00e2ncias nos ambientes aqu\u00e1ticos (Winkaler, 2008).<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Dentre os compostos com origem os organofosforados, destaca-se o Paration met\u00edlico (comercialmente conhecido no Brasil como Folidol 600\u00ae (Bayer) e Folisuper 600 BR\u00ae (Agripec)) (Queiroz, 2017). Este composto \u00e9 classificado pela Ag\u00eancia de Prote\u00e7\u00e3o Ambiental dos EUA como um pesticida de uso restrito, pertencente \u00e0 classe toxicol\u00f3gica I, dos compostos extremamente t\u00f3xicos, podendo ser utilizado somente por aplicadores autorizados (Queiroz, 2017). Esta subst\u00e2ncia, quando utilizadas com exposi\u00e7\u00f5es em altas doses, podem afetar o desenvolvimento normal dos peixes. O que podem resultam em movimentos n\u00e3o coordenados, perda de mobilidade e de equil\u00edbrio e altera\u00e7\u00f5es degenerativas no f\u00edgado, nos rins e no epit\u00e9lio branquial dos peixes (Monteiro<\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> et al.<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, 2009). <\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Como tamb\u00e9m, podem gerar consequ\u00eancias desfavor\u00e1veis ao meio ambiente, quando disseminadas pelos cursos h\u00eddricos e entrando em contato com outros organismos presentes nos ambientes (Botelho<\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> et al.<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, 2012).<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Alguns m\u00e9todos preventivos e de controle podem ser realizados para minimizar a preda\u00e7\u00e3o das ninfas sobre as p\u00f3s-larvas na piscicultura.
