Al\u00e9m disso, essa esp\u00e9cie apresenta outra caracter\u00edstica crucial e desejada dentro da piscicultura, a rusticidade. Esses animais toleram diversas faixas de temperaturas, resistem a diversos pat\u00f3genos porem, caso o produtor se esque\u00e7a de aliment\u00e1-los, com certeza praticar\u00e3o o canibalismo.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt; background-color: initial; text-align: justify;\">A temperatura de cultivo varia entre 24 e 28 graus. Em condi\u00e7\u00f5es controladas (laborat\u00f3rio), a esp\u00e9cie pode ser reproduzida o ano inteiro, desde que, durante o per\u00edodo de manuten\u00e7\u00e3o desses animais (cultivo), mantenha os sob temperatura e fotoper\u00edodo controlados.
