Estes modelos s\u00e3o ferramentas importantes na investiga\u00e7\u00e3o de diversos ambientes, com o intuito aplic\u00e1-los em diferentes \u00e1reas tecnol\u00f3gicas e cient\u00edficas (Neveln et al. 2013). \u201cA natureza levou milh\u00f5es de anos para aprimorar os seus pr\u00f3prios mecanismos\u201d, ent\u00e3o por que n\u00e3o utilizarmos na ci\u00eancia para melhorar as tecnologias? Podemos citar alguns exemplos de modelos bioinspirados:<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<section (1991) desenvolveu um modelo f\u00edsico da cauda de um peixe para examinar a estrutura vertical de peixes ordem carangiformes (Ahlborn et al. 1991). Os resultados apontaram que as caracter\u00edsticas natat\u00f3rias deixadas pelo modelo f\u00edsico correspondeu aos movimento natat\u00f3rio realizados pelos peixes, resultando em dados satisfat\u00f3rios sobre a efici\u00eancia do movimento natat\u00f3rio do rob\u00f4 (Triantafyllou and Triantafyllou 1995).<\/p><p>O peixe rob\u00f3tico foi projetado para ser bio-mim\u00e9tico, ou seja, ele nadaria de forma semelhante a nata\u00e7\u00e3o realizada por um peixe. Em termos pr\u00e1ticos, estes peixes rob\u00f4s seriam utilizados em sistemas de produ\u00e7\u00e3o para realizar o monitoramento da qualidade da \u00e1gua assim como em outras aplica\u00e7\u00f5es. Isso garantiria que menos estresses para os peixes reais, resultando em n\u00edveis de estresses menores, quando associados a sondas de monitoramento da qualidade da \u00e1gua ou objetos estranhos dento do ambiente aqu\u00e1tico natural normalmente habitado pelos peixes. O peixe rob\u00f3tico tamb\u00e9m \u00e9 sofisticado o suficiente para alterar dinamicamente a nata\u00e7\u00e3o em diferentes condi\u00e7\u00f5es hidr\u00e1ulicas. A sua &#8220;espinha dorsal&#8221; foi constru\u00edda com policarbonato de 1 mm de espessura, al\u00e9m de possuir uma pele \u00e0 base de l\u00e1tex (estes detalhes foram pensados para se aproximar ao m\u00e1ximo do real) (Elege et al. 2017) (Figura 1).<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<section aplica\u00e7\u00f5es dos peixes rob\u00f4s em diversas \u00e1reas (monitoramento da biodiversidade em florestas, ambientes aqu\u00e1ticos e a\u00e9reos), algumas delas podem ser utilizadas na aquicultura. Como por exemplo, em alimenta\u00e7\u00e3o com arra\u00e7oamento sob demanda em sistemas de cria\u00e7\u00e3o de peixes. Sensores acoplados ao peixe rob\u00f4 podem monitorar as condi\u00e7\u00f5es ambientais, incluindo n\u00edveis de oxig\u00eanio, am\u00f4nia, temperatura da \u00e1gua e pH (Maindalkar and Ansari 2015). (Figura 2). Essas informa\u00e7\u00f5es s\u00e3o enviadas a dispositivos moveis ou desktops que determinaria o per\u00edodo e a quantidade de ra\u00e7\u00e3o introduzido nos sistemas para os peixes e, em seguida, enviaria o comando a um distribuidor autom\u00e1tico de ra\u00e7\u00e3o.
