Allendorf\u00a0<em>et al.<\/em>, 2010) particularmente, aqueles afetados por diferentes atividades antr\u00f3picas.\u00a0<span style=\"color: var( --e-global-color-text );\">Os Siluriformes, est\u00e3o entre as ordens taxon\u00f4micas mais ricas de peixes de ambientes limn\u00edcos na regi\u00e3o Neotropical (Pereira <\/span><em style=\"color: var( --e-global-color-text );\">et al.<\/em><span style=\"color: var( --e-global-color-text );\">, 2013; Reis <\/span><em style=\"color: var( --e-global-color-text );\">et al.<\/em><span style=\"color: var( --e-global-color-text );\">, 2016). No entanto, diferentes esp\u00e9cies podem ser agrupadas erroneamente dentro de uma polim\u00f3rfica esp\u00e9cie, ou uma esp\u00e9cie v\u00e1lida pode ser erroneamente dividida em v\u00e1rias esp\u00e9cies (Chong e Khoo, 1987; R\u00f6mer e Hahn, 2008). \u00a0No estudo de Scarabotti<em>et al. <\/em>(2020), foi desenvolvido um modelo matem\u00e1tico para identificar as esp\u00e9cies de Pseudoplatistoma baseado nos padr\u00f5es de colora\u00e7\u00e3o da pele presente nos peixes (Figura 1). Isso foi baseado por um sistema de difus\u00e3o por rea\u00e7\u00e3o n\u00e3o linear de dois componentes que apresenta uma riqueza de bifurca\u00e7\u00f5es. O modelo estendido assume que h\u00e1 duas camadas de c\u00e9lulas \/ tecidos em intera\u00e7\u00e3o nas quais os morf\u00f3genos se difundem e interagem, dando origem ao padr\u00e3o de colora\u00e7\u00e3o da pele. Os autores descobriram que, variando apenas dois par\u00e2metros, seria capaz de reproduzir com precis\u00e3o os padr\u00f5es distintos encontrados em todas as esp\u00e9cies de Pseudoplatystoma (Figura 2). (2013) e colaboradores analisaram na Col\u00f4mbia, um estudo com duas esp\u00e9cies de Pseudoplatystoma. Nestas an\u00e1lises foram utilizados sete locus microssat\u00e9lites para 103 esp\u00e9cimes e, para parte deles (52), utilizando sequ\u00eancias de duas regi\u00f5es do seu genoma mitocondrial [Citocromo Oxidase subunidade I (COI) e Regi\u00e3o Controle (CR)]. Os resultados indicam que os esp\u00e9cimes originalmente identificados como <em>P. punctifer<\/em> pertenciam a dois pools de genes diferentes altamente diferenciados de <em>P. tigrinum <\/em>e que possivelmente existe uma terceira esp\u00e9cie muito pr\u00f3xima evolutivamente, presente nos ambientes, o que provavelmente dificultaria a identifica\u00e7\u00e3o exata das esp\u00e9cies.<\/p><p>Vaini et al. (2014), e colaboradores analisaram a presen\u00e7a de duas esp\u00e9cies de pseudoplatystoma, no estado do Mato Grosso do Sul, utilizando PCR multiplex e PCR-RFLP em genes nucleares RAG2, GLOBIN, EF1 \u03b1 ,18S rRNA e gene mitocondrial 16S rRNA. Os resultados revelaram a presen\u00e7a de h\u00edbridos F 1 em rios e a ocorr\u00eancia de introgress\u00e3o gen\u00e9tica, evidenciada pelo P\u00f3s-F 1 h\u00edbridos.
