O WSSV induz rapidamente manchas brancas no exoesqueleto, ap\u00eandices e dentro da epiderme do camar\u00e3o e pode causar at\u00e9 100% de mortalidade nos camar\u00f5es entre 3 e 10 dias ap\u00f3s a infec\u00e7\u00e3o. Os camar\u00f5es dependem da resposta imune inata para resistir \u00e0 infec\u00e7\u00e3o por v\u00edrus, devido \u00e0 falta de imunidade adaptativa, o que torna o uso de vacinas incapaz de combater o WSSV.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<section class=\"elementor-section elementor-top-section elementor-element elementor-element-aeac7d8 elementor-section-boxed elementor-section-height-default elementor-section-height-default exad-glass-effect-no exad-sticky-section-no\" data-id=\"aeac7d8\" data-element_type=\"section\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-container elementor-column-gap-default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-column elementor-col-100 elementor-top-column elementor-element elementor-element-ebe245d exad-glass-effect-no exad-sticky-section-no\" data-id=\"ebe245d\" data-element_type=\"column\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-wrap elementor-element-populated\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-c415670 exad-sticky-section-no exad-glass-effect-no elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"c415670\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>a tentativa de solucionar este problema na carcinicultura, alguns pesquisadores testaram outras op\u00e7\u00f5es de preven\u00e7\u00e3o ou tratamento contra a infec\u00e7\u00e3o por WSSV, como o uso de produtos naturais de plantas, incluindo produtos fitoter\u00e1picos e extratos de plantas medicinais (Huang et al. 2019, Palanikumar et al. 2018, Citarasu et al. 2006). Os produtos naturais testados cont\u00eam alguns ingredientes bioativos especializados ou secund\u00e1rios, como alcal\u00f3ides, flavon\u00f3ides, glicos\u00eddeos, polifen\u00f3is e saponinas, para aplica\u00e7\u00e3o em doen\u00e7as virais na aquicultura. Mais recentemente, um composto amplamente encontrado em plantas, chamado de C3007 (2-amino-4-(4-nitrophenyl)-5-oxo- 4H, 5H-pyrano[3,2-c]chromene-3-carbonitrile) tem mostrado resultados empolgantes para a carcinicultura.<\/p><p>O C3007 \u00e9 um composto derivado de cumarinas, que s\u00e3o uma classe de produtos naturais de pequenas mol\u00e9culas isoladas de plantas, bact\u00e9rias, fungos e \u00f3leos essenciais. Por ser um composto est\u00e1vel, sol\u00favel e de baixo peso molecular, sem efeitos colaterais adversos, se tornou um bom candidato para inibir a replica\u00e7\u00e3o do WSSV. Recentemente, Liu et al. (2021) analisaram o efeito do uso do composto C3007 no tratamento de larvas de camar\u00e3o (<em>L. vannamei<\/em>) infectadas pelo v\u00edrus da mancha branca.<\/p><p>Neste estudo, as larvas de <em>L. vannamei <\/em>(comprimento total: 0,5 \u00b1 0,04 cm; peso corporal: 4,2 \u00b1 0,4 mg) foram mantidas em placa de cultura celular (6 po\u00e7os) contendo \u00e1gua marinha esterilizada (28 \u00baC), e foram infectadas por imers\u00e3o com o WSSV (1,6 x 105 c\u00f3pias virais\/\u03bcL) e expostas ao C3007 em dilui\u00e7\u00f5es de at\u00e9 10 mg\/L por 72 horas. No grupo controle negativo foi utilizado 0,2 mg\/L de DMSO (Dimetilsulf\u00f3xido).<\/p><p>Os resultados mostraram que quando o WSSV foi co-incubado com o composto C3007, as taxas de sobreviv\u00eancia das larvas de <em>L. vannamei <\/em>aumentaram de acordo com o aumento da dose de C3007 (Figura 1A). Al\u00e9m disso, o C3007 tamb\u00e9m reduziu significativamente a carga viral de WSSV (Figura 1B). (2021) mostraram que o uso de C3007 na \u00e1gua de cultivo dos camar\u00f5es diminuiu a replica\u00e7\u00e3o de WSSV e aumentou a sobreviv\u00eancia dos camar\u00f5es infectados. No entanto, os autores observaram que C3007 sofreu uma degrada\u00e7\u00e3o significativa ap\u00f3s 48 e 72 horas na \u00e1gua de cultivo, que resultou no aumento da taxa de mortalidade dos animais infectados por WSSV mesmo expostos ao C3007 (Figura 3A).<\/p><p>Uma vez que a degrada\u00e7\u00e3o foi a principal limita\u00e7\u00e3o do uso do composto na carcinicultura, os pesquisadores testaram a imers\u00e3o cont\u00ednua de novas doses de C3007 para fornecer uma maior prote\u00e7\u00e3o \u00e0s larvas de camar\u00e3o. Na etapa de imers\u00e3o cont\u00ednua, os camar\u00f5es foram pr\u00e9-incubados com WSSV (1,6 x 105 c\u00f3pias virais\/\u03bcL) por 24 horas e depois foram transferidos para novos po\u00e7os com 10 mg\/L de C3007 (Figura 2).
