Esses aqu\u00e1rios envolvem basicamente esp\u00e9cies habitantes de recifes de corais, ambientes onde a fauna exibe naturalmente uma grande diversidade de formas e cores<\/span><a title=\"Wabnitz, 2003 #23\" href=\"file:\/\/\/C:\/Users\/Ostrensky\/Dropbox\/Ana%20Silvia\/Artigo\/Site%20GIA\/Artigo%20site%201.docx#_ENREF_1\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; color: windowtext; text-decoration: none;\"><sup>1<\/sup><\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\">. Mundialmente s\u00e3o comercializadas de 20 a 30 milh\u00f5es de peixes marinhos de 1.500 diferentes esp\u00e9cies para fins ornamentais por ano <\/span><a title=\"Bruckner, 2005 #10\" href=\"file:\/\/\/C:\/Users\/Ostrensky\/Dropbox\/Ana%20Silvia\/Artigo\/Site%20GIA\/Artigo%20site%201.docx#_ENREF_2\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; color: windowtext; text-decoration: none;\"><sup>2<\/sup><\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\">. <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; color: black;\">O Brasil possui cinco estados praticantes de pesca ornamental marinha. Dentre eles, o estado do Cear\u00e1 \u00e9 o maior exportador de peixes marinhos, recebendo tamb\u00e9m a produ\u00e7\u00e3o dos estados vizinhos e, neste caso, atuando como entreposto. Nos registros de exporta\u00e7\u00e3o do IBAMA, constatou-se que foram comercializadas no Cear\u00e1 um total de 143 esp\u00e9cies de recife e 199.304 indiv\u00edduos entre os anos de 1995 e 2000 <\/span><a title=\"MONTEIRO-NETO, 2003 #3\" href=\"file:\/\/\/C:\/Users\/Ostrensky\/Dropbox\/Ana%20Silvia\/Artigo\/Site%20GIA\/Artigo%20site%201.docx#_ENREF_4\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; color: black; text-decoration: none;\"><sup>4<\/sup><\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 0.0001pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: 35.4pt; line-height: 150%;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\">As altas taxas de captura necess\u00e1rias para suprir a demanda do mercado associadas \u00e0s pr\u00e1ticas destrutivas de coleta podem provocar a sobrexplota\u00e7\u00e3o dos recifes <\/span><a title=\"OLIVOTTO, 2011 #7\" href=\"file:\/\/\/C:\/Users\/Ostrensky\/Dropbox\/Ana%20Silvia\/Artigo\/Site%20GIA\/Artigo%20site%201.docx#_ENREF_5\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; color: windowtext; text-decoration: none;\"><sup>5<\/sup><\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\">.<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\">Como muitas esp\u00e9cies escondem-se em meio \u00e0s rochas, em alguns pa\u00edses como nas Filipinas os coletores usam produtos qu\u00edmicos para tranquilizar ou anestesiar os peixes e assim facilitar o momento da coleta <\/span><a title=\"Wood, 2001 #8\" href=\"file:\/\/\/C:\/Users\/Ostrensky\/Dropbox\/Ana%20Silvia\/Artigo\/Site%20GIA\/Artigo%20site%201.docx#_ENREF_6\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; color: windowtext; text-decoration: none;\"><sup>6<\/sup><\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\">. Os produtos mais utilizados s\u00e3o o cianeto de s\u00f3dio e a quinaldina, apesar de proibidos para esse fim na maior parte do mundo <\/span><a title=\"Nolting, 2003 #5\" href=\"file:\/\/\/C:\/Users\/Ostrensky\/Dropbox\/Ana%20Silvia\/Artigo\/Site%20GIA\/Artigo%20site%201.docx#_ENREF_7\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; color: windowtext; text-decoration: none;\"><sup>7<\/sup><\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\">. A taxa de mortalidade dos indiv\u00edduos capturados com o uso do cianeto pode ser acima de 50%, al\u00e9m de destruir corais e outros alimentos de peixes<\/span><a title=\"Nolting, 2003 #5\" href=\"file:\/\/\/C:\/Users\/Ostrensky\/Dropbox\/Ana%20Silvia\/Artigo\/Site%20GIA\/Artigo%20site%201.docx#_ENREF_7\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; color: windowtext; text-decoration: none;\"><sup>7<\/sup><\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\">. <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\">Centenas de milh\u00f5es de d\u00f3lares j\u00e1 foram gastos em campanhas governamentais ou n\u00e3o, inibindo o uso de cianeto, por\u00e9m n\u00e3o foram obtidos resultados satisfat\u00f3rios <\/span><a title=\"Cruz, 2001 #115\" href=\"file:\/\/\/C:\/Users\/Ostrensky\/Dropbox\/Ana%20Silvia\/Artigo\/Site%20GIA\/Artigo%20site%201.docx#_ENREF_9\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; color: windowtext; text-decoration: none;\"><sup>9<\/sup><\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\">. No Brasil, n\u00e3o se tem conhecimento a respeito do uso de subst\u00e2ncias <\/span><a title=\"SAMPAIO, 2005 #1\" href=\"file:\/\/\/C:\/Users\/Ostrensky\/Dropbox\/Ana%20Silvia\/Artigo\/Site%20GIA\/Artigo%20site%201.docx#_ENREF_10\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; color: windowtext; text-decoration: none;\"><sup>10<\/sup><\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\">, por\u00e9m Gasparini et al. (2005) citaram o esmagamento dos corais durante a pesca da donzela de rabo amarelo <i>Microspathodon chrysurus<\/i>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 0.0001pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: 35.4pt; line-height: 150%;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\">Em algumas regi\u00f5es das Filipinas e da Indon\u00e9sia, onde os pontos de coleta s\u00e3o bastante isolados, os peixes podem permanecer a bordo por v\u00e1rios dias anteriormente ao desembarque. Neste caso, s\u00e3o acondicionados em taques suspensos e separados individualmente<\/span><a title=\"Wabnitz, 2003 #23\" href=\"file:\/\/\/C:\/Users\/Ostrensky\/Dropbox\/Ana%20Silvia\/Artigo\/Site%20GIA\/Artigo%20site%201.docx#_ENREF_1\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; color: windowtext; text-decoration: none;\"><sup>1<\/sup><\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\">. Estas condi\u00e7\u00f5es propiciam perdas significativas devido \u00e0s m\u00e1s condi\u00e7\u00f5es de armazenamento dos animais. <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\">Em m\u00e9dia, h\u00e1 uma taxa de mortalidade de 8 a 11 % no per\u00edodo compreendido entre a coleta e a exporta\u00e7\u00e3o, o que representa a perda global de 14 a 30 milh\u00f5es de indiv\u00edduos anualmente <\/span><a title=\"Wood, 2001 #8\" href=\"file:\/\/\/C:\/Users\/Ostrensky\/Dropbox\/Ana%20Silvia\/Artigo\/Site%20GIA\/Artigo%20site%201.docx#_ENREF_6\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; color: windowtext; text-decoration: none;\"><sup>6<\/sup><\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\">. <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\">At\u00e9 a chegada ao aqu\u00e1rio do consumidor final, mais de 80% dos animais v\u00e3o a \u00f3bito <\/span><a title=\"Unep, 2008 #42\" href=\"file:\/\/\/C:\/Users\/Ostrensky\/Dropbox\/Ana%20Silvia\/Artigo\/Site%20GIA\/Artigo%20site%201.docx#_ENREF_11\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; color: windowtext; text-decoration: none;\"><sup>11<\/sup><\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 0.0001pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: 35.4pt; line-height: 150%;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\">Devido ao car\u00e1ter altamente seletivo da atividade, existe uma tend\u00eancia de cada pa\u00eds em exportar um n\u00famero limitado de esp\u00e9cies em grande quantidade de indiv\u00edduos (fig. 1) <\/span><a title=\"Bruckner, 2005 #10\" href=\"file:\/\/\/C:\/Users\/Ostrensky\/Dropbox\/Ana%20Silvia\/Artigo\/Site%20GIA\/Artigo%20site%201.docx#_ENREF_2\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; color: windowtext; text-decoration: none;\"><sup>2<\/sup><\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\">.Portanto, para avaliar o impacto negativo de sobrepesca causado sobre o meio ambiente \u00e9 importante considerar a relev\u00e2ncia de cada esp\u00e9cie no mercado de peixes ornamentais.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 0.0001pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: 35.4pt; line-height: 150%;\">\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 0.0001pt; text-indent: 35.4pt; line-height: 150%;\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\" size-full wp-image-1038\" style=\"display: block; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;\" src=\"https:\/\/gia.org.br\/portal\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/03\/figura2.JPG\" alt=\"figura2\" width=\"645\" height=\"423\" srcset=\"https:\/\/gia.org.br\/portal\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/03\/figura2.JPG 645w, https:\/\/gia.org.br\/portal\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/03\/figura2-300x197.jpg 300w, https:\/\/gia.org.br\/portal\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/03\/figura2-440x289.jpg 440w, https:\/\/gia.org.br\/portal\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/03\/figura2-627x411.jpg 627w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 645px) 100vw, 645px\" \/><span style=\"line-height: 150%; text-align: justify; text-indent: 35.4pt; font-size: 11px;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<div style=\"border: 1pt solid windowtext; padding: 1pt 4pt;\">\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 0.0001pt; text-align: justify; border: none; padding: 0cm;\"><i><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\">Fig. 1. Venda de donzelas da fam\u00edlia Pomacentridae em loja de aqu\u00e1rio, a fam\u00edlia de peixes mais comercializada por todo o mundo.<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 0.0001pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: 35.4pt; line-height: 150%;\">\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 0.0001pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: 35.4pt; line-height: 150%;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\">Al\u00e9m da prefer\u00eancia por determinadas esp\u00e9cies, o mercado seleciona os indiv\u00edduos de acordo com seu tamanho. <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\">Na maioria das esp\u00e9cies, animais jovens s\u00e3o preferidos no momento da captura, pois geram menor custo de transporte, adaptam-se melhor ao cativeiro, e geralmente s\u00e3o mais coloridos que os adultos <\/span><a title=\"Bruckner, 2005 #10\" href=\"file:\/\/\/C:\/Users\/Ostrensky\/Dropbox\/Ana%20Silvia\/Artigo\/Site%20GIA\/Artigo%20site%201.docx#_ENREF_2\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; color: windowtext; text-decoration: none;\"><sup>2<\/sup><\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\">. Como estes peixes ainda n\u00e3o atingiram sua maturidade sexual, esta pr\u00e1tica certamente compromete a manuten\u00e7\u00e3o dos estoques, pois os peixes coletados n\u00e3o ter\u00e3o oportunidade de reproduzirem-se na natureza.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 0.0001pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: 35.4pt; line-height: 150%;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\">Outro fator de prefer\u00eancia \u00e9 quanto ao sexo dos peixes. Em muitas esp\u00e9cies, a exemplo do que ocorre com o mandarin gobie <i>Synchiropus splendidus<\/i>, os machos s\u00e3o selecionados pela sua maior atratividade e abund\u00e2ncia de cores <\/span><a title=\"Wittenrich, 2007 #22\" href=\"file:\/\/\/C:\/Users\/Ostrensky\/Dropbox\/Ana%20Silvia\/Artigo\/Site%20GIA\/Artigo%20site%201.docx#_ENREF_12\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; color: windowtext; text-decoration: none;\"><sup>12<\/sup><\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\">. Esta pr\u00e1tica tamb\u00e9m pode afetar a exist\u00eancia da esp\u00e9cie, pois o macho tem a capacidade de fertilizar in\u00fameras f\u00eameas em seu per\u00edodo reprodutivo. <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 0.0001pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: 35.4pt; line-height: 150%;\"><span class=\"hps\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\">Portanto, para que a pr\u00e1tica do aquarismo marinho seja ecologica e economicamente pratic\u00e1vel \u00e9 necess\u00e1rio o uso de medidas de controle dos estoques naturais. A atividade requer monitoramento<\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\">, fiscaliza\u00e7\u00e3o, <span class=\"hps\">uso de<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">m\u00e9todos de coleta<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">n\u00e3o agressivos<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">e ado\u00e7\u00e3o de estrat\u00e9gias<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">de conserva\u00e7\u00e3o como sistemas de <\/span>cotas, al\u00e9m<span class=\"hps\"> do incentivo \u00e0 aquicultura ornamental<\/span>. A <span class=\"hps\">produ\u00e7\u00e3o de peixes ornamentais em cativeiro propicia<\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\">benef\u00edcios socioambientais e econ\u00f4micos <\/span><span class=\"hps\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\">(fig.2)<\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\">.
